A Trip to the Children’s Museum

Last week the kids and I ventured off to downtown Atlanta, and went to the Children’s museum, where this momma let the big kids run around for 5 hours straight. I am so board staying in corporate housing, and the kids are going stir crazy, so I try to get them out at least once a day to run off some steam. And after spending $42, to get into the museum and $10 in parking we were going to get our money’s worth! In hindsight I wish I had bought a membership package, so we could have gone as many times as we wanted to during the year, but I am not sure how many times we are going to want to go once we actually get moved into our new house.

The museum was a fun place to visit and the babies loved getting to play in a new play area that actually has toys. I am still not sure why I only packed them 10 little things to play with, and now I am too cheap to go by them more. We should be moved into our new house in about 3 more weeks, and we will have all of their toys again.

There are a lot of picture here. I am guilty of posting a lot of pictures but one day I am going to have my blog printed so my kids can each have a copy and I think they will love all of the pictures!

Taylor hates to have his picture taken.  He makes it his personal mission to be in as few pictures as possible, and when I insist he makes it look as though he is miserable.

Baby play time.  The twins appreciated the extra play toys.  I am such a bad mom.  Seriously if you could see the few toys that I have been making them play with you would be embarrassed.  The other day I pulled the swim float out for them to climb over, that Emma Grace bought to bring to the pool.

I love these Discovery Tubes.  I took a picture of them so I can make some for our new playroom.   I am so very excited about setting up a play room for the kids in our new basement.  I am going to make it very bright and stimulating.  I am going to make it a circus/clown theme, and use all of the antique and vintage clowns and toys that I use to have Taylor’s room decorated in.  I am so excited about pulling it all together.

My beautiful blue eyed baby girl!

Emma Grace loved shopping in the grocery store.

Discovering!  Look at those eyes.

Taylor doing the ball drop, that smile is because he is about to get his sister.
