Six Months Old

Can't believe six months ago today God brought these two babies into our lives. Don't know what we would do without them. They are both eating big people food up like a storm. Preston is going to crawl any day. And Addison is ready to sit up on her own. We love you babies.

My Razorback Men

Taylor and daddy have been quite the razorback basketball followers lately. They have a tradition that they will eat at US Pizza and then go take in a ball game. Taylor loves it! He loves daddy time and getting to eat notches at the ball game.

Working/Breastfeeding Mom's Dream

I have been experimenting with some different herbal things to help with my milk supply while I am pumping and working.  The fenugreek worked okay, but I did not see a huge difference.  I did find this product that I have linked to below (called Motherlove).  It is an herbal based product that is supposed to enhance your milk.  So I bought some and I started taking last week, and over night my milk supply went up 30%.  Awesome news - helps solve a lot of low milk supply issues.

Background Information - Private Blog Info

Some of you have asked me what people were looking at on my blog and how I found it. I actually would not have found it if my sister was not smart enough to look at my search feeds on my blog. (Thanks Sis!) She just looked at my most popular post that people were visiting and noticed that it was titled “Little N a k e d Girl” (I put spaces in between the N word so that it will not be picked up in search engines.) I guess this post was popping up when perverted people were googling child pornography, or this phrase exactly. My bad for naming a post this. I guess over the 4 years that I have been keeping a blog I have had roughly 33K hits and 6K of those hits were to this one post.

When this was pointed out to me on Tuesday I turned off the search engine capabilities, so that my blog would not pop up when people googled. But last night I was looking at my traffic feed and status reports and realized that people from all over the world were still looking at this post which did not make since because I had turned the search engine off, and renamed the post. But my husband pointed out to me that people might have the post bookmarked and were still pulling it up. Since last night I have deleted the post so that that webpage is not visible.

I really don’t want to take my blog private because I hate when people do it and I have to log in to view their pictures. I really don’t have the extra time to do that, and for some reason the private blogs always drop to the bottom of my “friend list” and I never think to go look at them because they appear to not be updated at first glance.

My action plan going forward: Clean up everything on my blog, that might interest some sick person. And going forward think really hard about the content that I write and attach in my post.

Emma Grace – mommy is sick to death about this and I am so sorry that I put your precious little picture out there for sick people in this world to see.

Private Blog

I don't know who reads my blog but I did want to post that I am praying about taking my blog private for only me to read.  I am going to pray about this, but I recently found out that some sick bastards have been looking at head and shoulder shots of my beautiful Emma Grace at 18 months old to do only God knows what to.  I have recently taken the post down and I have put measures in place that will not allow my blog to pop up on search engines, but I am just sick about this.

Please make sure that know who is reading your blog and what they are looking at.  You can see all of this information under the "Stats" tag under your account settings.

Super Bowl Fun

These pictures are really late getting on the blog, but a couple weeks ago we had so much fun spending Super Bowl Sunday with the Ledbetter’s.  Sadie, Justin, and Susan all came over to hand out with the usual Coble/Bost/Bullington crowd.  I love fun and fellowship with good people.  And I love that Lucy, Emma Grace and Sadie are all so close.

Girls Night Out

Saturday a couple of us got together to celebrate Samantha's birthday at dinner and a pedicure.  We had the best time.  Don't tell my kids, but I so look forward to getting out of the house every once in a while for girl/adult time!  I also adore these ladies - we all went to school together and were Kappa Delta's throughout college.

A Day at the Museum

Sunday we packed the kids up after church and headed over the new Crystal Bridges museum.  We had the best lunch and the spent a few hours going through the museum.   The art did not hold Emma Grace’s attention very long but the children’s exploratory room did as well as the craft center.  This is such a wonderful museum (World Class), and I am so excited it is in Bentonville.  I highly recommend that you take a view.  Ryan and I are really looking forward to taking Taylor back on a one on one trip.

All Dressed Up

The twins looked so cute all dressed up on Sunday for Chruch!  They don't get out of the house very much therefore they really don't get out of their pj's very often!

Preston is a stinky little boy, but I mostly think this is the cutest outfit on earth!  So fitting for my little stinker.  Thanks Tiffany for the outfit!

Sadie’s 4th Birthday Party

This weekend we had the best time at Sadie’s 4th Birthday.  It was at the cutest little bakery in Farmington.  Just about every kid that Emma Grace goes to church with was at the party.  I just love getting to raise my children with our church family.

Oh my how quick my babies are changing.  I do sometimes wish I could make time stand still, and then I remember that I will loose my mind if I don't start sleeping through the night soon.

Art Time in the Tub

My children and I love art time, and when you can mix art with bath time what could possibly be for fun for mom.  This concoction is simply shaving cream and food coloring.  Taylor really enjoyed the activity as well, but he would not let me take his picture in the bathtub.

Boy Oh Boy… It’s a Baby Shower

One of my dearest friends Jennifer is having a baby boy at the end of March, and last weekend was her baby shower. It was such a beautiful show! And I am just so that Kris and Jennifer are finally having a baby! Jennifer and I are pretty sure that he (Wyatt) and Preston will be best friends. I am so looking forward to delivery day, and holding that little love bug!
Emma Grace went with me to the shower and she was such a polite big girl. She was also very funny. She announced to everyone in the room how “yummy, yummy, yummy the cake was” and “oh how she just loved balloons and how they were her very favorite.” I was so very impressed with her behavior. It was a great reminder for me about how I need to get her out for more one on one time because she does very good.

February the 5th - "D Day"

Well today is February the 5th - you might ask why that is so important.  Well it is two months after I started back to work after having the twins.  Ryan and I agreed that I would try to work for at least two month before making the decision whether or not to stay at home with the kids or try to be a working mom to 4!  It has not been easy to say the very least.  There have been good days, hard days, really hard days, and bad days.  We have adjusted a few things around to try to make things better, and I would say each day is a learning opportunity.  I am working a flexible schedule - 7:30 to 2:00 in the office, and we have hired a nanny.  My schedule allows me to pick up Taylor from school, and the nanny allows me to keep my sanity!

I actually work for the worlds greatest company.  Actually our mission is to be "the earth's favorite food company."  Which says a lot for the culture of the company.  It is a pretty awesome company, and my boss rocks.  I work really hard and they have treated me very good.  I could not think of a better place to work.  I am pretty sure that if I worked any place else that I would not have gone back to work after the babies were born.  Right now my decision is to continue working and to be a working mom of four.  Hopefully by doing so I can still be the kind of mom that my kids need me to be.

Emma Grace's Church Art

Notice how tiny her daddy is.  She said this is because she loves him the very most!  Love this little girl, and her ability to draw awesome people with faces, and for her creativity.

Take Three - Taylor loves to have his picture taken with the babies! But not his three year old sister.
