Church Pumpkin Patch and Jazz Festival

A couple weeks ago our church had the best Jazz Concert and Chili Cook off. It was outside with the pumpkin patch and hints how I got all of these great pictures. I love our church and our church friends.

Reese’s Birthday Party

Last night Emma Grace and I got to attend Reese’s Birthday Party. Reese is in Sunday school with Emma Grace. I hope this little group of kids grow up to be very close.

Tiger Tailgate

Friday night was Tiger Tailgate at Taylor’s school and we had a blast playing games and winning prizes. Taylor also won the Silent Auction for “Principle of the Day.” One day in a couple weeks he will get to be the principle for the whole day. When he found out that we won the first thing that he said was “I am going to make a rule that everyone gets to wear Silly Bands for the day that I am the principle.” They outlawed silly bands a couple months ago because they were such a distraction.

Catching Up Is Hard To Do

I am so far behind on blogging. I have been so very busy with church, soccer, work, and my beautiful family that I have not had time to blog. I am going to attempt to catch up tonight while I sit here and watch my favorite two Sunday night TV shows: Desperate House Wives, and Brothers and Sisters.

Last week we took off for a spontaneous trip to Alabama to go and visit my MeMaw for the week. MeMaw is not doing great since the passing of Bill Bill, but it was truly great to see her beautiful smiling face. She is just so precious. She is having a lot of trouble getting around, but she has lots of wonderful in home help. When we (Mary, Emily, Lucy, Emma Grace, and me) got there I asked her if she wanted us to get a hotel room so the little girls could not bother her, and she looked at me and said “heavens no, I love “cillins” (children).” It was wonderful to see her and I hope that she gets to feeling better soon.

While we were there we also got to visit Grandmom and Granddad Bullington. Granddad has been in the rehabilitation hospital as he is recovering from a hospital stay. It is hard to watch the ones you love get old in life, but I sure have enjoyed all of the memories I have had with all of my Grandparents.

Here are some pictures of our trip.
