Beach Pictures #4

I know you guys are tired of hearing about my vacation, but I want make sure that I am documenting everything.

We looked like the Beverly Hill Billy’s headed to the beach. Yes, we wrapped all of our stuff in plastic bags. Ha!

We left for the beach on Thursday night but had to stop in Little Rock and spend the night so Taylor could go to a doctor’s appointment on Friday. Where he got a great report – the doctor said he ear is looking great, and feels that the whole that is currently there will close up on its on (God is great!). While we were in Little Rock we got to meet up with some dear fiend of ours at the Purple Cow for lunch: Stephanie and Aaron (Ryan’s best childhood friend, and his wife), and Rachel Russ and Meredith (my darling sorority sister and her kids).

On our way down to the beach we stopped by Baton Rouge, LA (we’ll it was kind of on the way to the beach) to see where G-Daddy and Manna’s new home was. They have a beautiful, no maintenance condo with a swimming pool and hot tub that we took full advantage of!!! They also have lots of yummy Cajun food all around them. Thanks for showing us such a good time.

The Kappa Delta house at LSU

Mike the Tiger’s Habitat (LUS’s mascot). It was truly a sight to see.

While we were at the beach we also go to meet up with my lifelong best friend Debra, Sydney, and Debra’s family. We got to have dinner at Lambert’s one night and then play in the water with them the whole next day. I am so glad that we could meet up. I wish that Debra and I lived closer so we could raise our babies together.
They call it the Emerald Coast for a reason – the water is a beautiful murky green all the time! We love Gulf Shores and we will be going back.
I love palm trees and the beach.

Our saving grace (even though we looked like bag people toting it down to the beach each day). If anyone around her goes to the beach they are more than welcome to borrow this beach cart – it truly was wonderful not to have to carry everything and our children.
