WhiteWave Christmas Party

This year my work Christmas party was at Tina’s beautiful house, and all kids were invited. We spent most of the night chasing Emma Grace up and down the stair – maybe next time we will leave her with a babysitter!!! Taylor really has bonded with a lot of my colleague’s children and he had a blast playing the Wii.

My Christmas Family

My Little Christmas Present

Emma Grace’s Nene made this adorable little shirt for her, and her cousins Britain and Lila. I think it is too cute! I love you Emma Grace – every day to teach me to be a more patient mother.

Taylor’s Choir Concerts

Taylor participates in both Kids of the Kingdom (after school bible study), and the Joyful Noise Choir. Over the past three weeks both of these groups have had Christmas Concerts, and the kids did such a wonderful job. Even my little Taylor!!! He is sometime reluctant to participate in activities like these, but he loves his youth director and all the fun activities that she has them do. I love our church, and all that it offers for our children.

Christmas Decoration

Have you ever seen anything so ridiculous in all your life? This is a string of Christmas lights, set in this white piece of corrugate. I either had to cut each bulb out of the thick cardboard, or unscrew each bulb. I almost thought about just throwing them away, but then I got my scissors out and went to work.

Christmas Ornaments 2009

Addition 12/3/2010 - Emma Grace this is the ornament that we found for you to commemorate 2009 (a couple months late but you still got it for your collection). You used you passy until you were 2 years old, so we thought this was appropriate. Love you!

Each year Ryan and I, get a Christmas ornament for the two of us, one for Taylor, and one for Emma Grace. We try to get one that represents something that happened to us during the year. These are the Christmas ornaments that we picked out while we were in NYC for this year. Yes I still need to get Emma Grace one for 2009, but I have not found the perfect one yet. I just love Christmas ornaments, and by the time the kids get out of the house and on their own they should have a really great collection started.

Soon I am going to go back and document all of the ornaments that we have on my blog, and document what each one symbolizes to us. It won’t be long and I will have forgotten!!! Stay tuned but feel free to breeze right over it.

This is mine and Ryan's for 2009:

This is Taylor's for 2009 - he picked it out himself.

Old Wee Friend's Gang

Last weekend Taylor was invited to Lauryn S’s. Birthday party at Aspire Gymnastics. Lauryn and Taylor were both in preschool together. These kids have so much fun together, and I just love seeing them get back together, and pick right back up where they left off.

I do think that one day Emma Grace will enjoy gymnastics.
She wore me out claiming all over everything!!!

Christmas Christmas Christmas

We have been in full swing getting ready for the most beautiful holiday of the year. We have attended many Christmas parties, Christmas Choir Concerts, shopping events, and excuses to get together eat. I am looking forward to this week and spending time with my family, and going to Alabama to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins next week. Emily made it home from NYC on Saturday night, and my parents come home on Wednesday!!! This truly is my most favorite time of the year. The next few post will be about our Christmas activities.

Here are some pictures of Emma Grace picking out her own Christmas presents. Taylor spent the night at Nene and Poppy’s and we just packed Emma Grace up with us and took her with us to do our Christmas shopping. Thank you Nene and Poppy for watching Taylor – you guys are truly lifesavers.

2009 Christmas E-Card

Holiday Greetings
The Coble family wants to wish you and yours a Blessed Christmas and a Joyful New Year.

We have had a wonderful and very busy year. Taylor turned five, started kindergarten, and lost his first tooth. He is adjusting to school very well, and loves learning something new everyday. Emma Grace has officially been “on the move” since September, and she keeps Ryan and me on our toes with her every move. As you can see from our Christmas picture she never sits still! Ryan and I were able to travel this year to: Washington DC, the Beach, and New York City. We had a wonderful time exploring new sites together. We have all been keeping busy, but 2009 has been one of the most memorable years yet!

We pray that this e-card finds you doing well, and that you have a blessed holiday season.

Much Love,
Ryan, Laura,
Taylor and Emma Grace Coble

Last year I promised myself that I would go green with my Christmas cards, so here it is. I truly recommend it! I feel like a new stress free/environmentally friendly women who’s ready to spend Christmas with her friends and family.

Taylor’s Kindergarten Portrait

I can’t believe my baby boy is old enough to have a kindergarten portrait! Taylor man you are growing up so very fast, and mommy and daddy love you so very much and we are so proud of the little man that you have become.

Breakfast with Santa 2009

Yesterday we did Breakfast with Santa at our church. Nene, Lawson, Britain, Mary, Jonathan, and Lucy all joined us. I think the kids had a lot of fun! As you can see the big kids did much better with Santa than the girls!

Not happy little girls:

Taylor and Erin Leonard (these guys have been best buddies since they were 3 months old).

My beautiful Niece Britain and Nephew Lawson:

It is so very hard to get a good picture of these two together:

NYC 2009 Part 6 - Done!!!

NYC 2009 Part 5 in Pictures

Taylor, Uncle Jonathan, and G-Daddy
Rockefeller Center

Ice Skating
Fairytale carriage ride through Central Park. It was supposed to be a surprise for Taylor, but I think he was not shocked. One day I am going to surprise him good!

This is the natural museum of history. Taylor loved this museum so much, mostly because it had dinosaur bones. He is so much like his daddy – he loves to learn!

I remember when I was little I would get so bored when my parents would drag me through museums. I use to remember wondering if “do my parents really enjoy this, or are they just trying to torture us.” Not that I am older I truly think that they did not enjoy them, and they only reason they brought us is because they wanted to exposed us to new things. Which are all good things, but while we were at the museum in NYC my dad chose to stay in the hotel and watch the Alabama game. Which just solidified that they were trying to torture us and they did not enjoy museums as much as they lead us to believe.
This is Mary and Lucy by a cut out of a CA redwood tree - isn't it huge!!!

Taylor loving to learn:

Mommy and her baby boy!

Here are some pictures of mine and Mary’s adventure down to 5th avenue.
The stores on 5th Avenue had the most wonderful window displays all decorated for the holidays. This is the window outside of Tiffany’s. You can’t really tell from the picture but it is all three dimensional and made out of paper.
