A Day In The Life of The Coble Family

A Day In The Life of The Coble Family

• 3:30-4:00 a.m. – rise and shine for mommy daddy and usually Preston! Feed and diaper Baby B and then on to Baby A.
• 4:30 – Ryan starts to get ready and makes coffee, and I pump
• 5:00 – I start to get ready
• 5:30 – enjoy 10 minutes of quite time with Ryan and coffee
• 5:45 – start making breakfast and lunches, pack: bottles, breast milk, diapers, pump, and computer.
• 6:00 – start getting big kids dressed and fed.
• 6:20 – mom and dad get work clothes on
• 6:45 – put twins in their car seats
• 6:50 – mom leaves with three little kids and heads to playschool, Ryan takes Taylor to school.
• 7:15 – mom and dad get to work
• 7:30 – Laura - pump and work
• 9:30 – pump and work
• 11:30 – pump and work
• 1:30 p.m. – pump and work (and yes I feel a lot like a dairy cow)
• 2:15 – leave work and go get in carpool line
• 2:30 – pick up Taylor and head over to daycare to pick up the three little kids
• 3:15 – get home, and get the car unloaded (pump, computer, purse, babies and car seats). Get the babies fed and settled (and then pump after feeding them). Then get the big kids started on an activity and homework for Taylor.
• 4:30 – get the big kids in the bath tub
• 5:00 – get dinner started, and feed babies
• 6:00 – Ryan gets home from work
• 6:15 – enjoy dinner together and pray the babies don’t wake up so we can eat and interact with the Taylor and Emma Grace.
• 7:00 – I usually feed the babies, and Ryan helps clean up from dinner, and after feeding the babies we try to get them to nap for a little while, while we get the big kids into bed.
• 7:30 – start getting the Taylor and Emma Grace to get their teeth brushed, and into the bed. Ryan usually does bedtime/reading time/and prayer type with the big kids.
• 8:30 – start the baby’s bath, and nurse them for the last time of the day. Then rock the babies to sleep.
• 9:45 – get babies in bed
• 10:00 – pump!!!! And log into work and finish up anything that did not get completed during the day.
• 10:30-11:00 – get into bed!
• 2:00 a.m. – Get up to feed Preston.
• 3:30 – 4:00 the next day – get up and start all over again!!!!!!!!


Deviation from Daily schedule:
• Tuesday – Taylor has Kids of the Kingdom at Church, and we eat dinner at church after that, and they by 6:30 Taylor and Daddy go to Cub Scouts.
• Saturday – big kids have swim lessons at 9:30
• Sunday – Church and lots of family time.

We are busy but we love our hectic schedule and our plethora of children.

I knew there was a reason that I feel the need to pray for you all so often during the day. ;-)
Laura and Ryan, you two are doing an amazing job - God knew what He was doing when he blessed you with 4 precious children.
