Happy 2nd Birthday My Precious Emma Grace
My sweet Emma Grace I just can't believe that tomorrow night at 10:35 you are going to be 2 years old. You have grown so much over the past two years, and it is happening way to fast for this momma. You have become quite the independent little girl. You must do everything "self" (aka myself), and as soon as you set your mind to something you are off and I just better get out of your way. I know this Independence will pay off big time when you are older. You are so precious and so very smart. You say "please," "thank you," and "welcome." You know your ABC, and you can count to 10 all by yourself. You love your big brother, but right now he won't pay you a bit of attention and he thinks you are a "boring old baby." I know this will one day change and you two will be thick as thiefs.

I had picked a cake up for you today so we could have it for breakfast in the morning with our eggs, but when you saw it sitting on the counter you said "my birthday cake." And we decided to indulge tonight.
We love you our sweet little Emma Grace! Happy 2nd Birthday! P.S. Please quit growing up so very fast..... Love, Mom and Dad
Stolen Birthday Pictures
I stole these off of Mary's blog because I liked them so much that I wanted to call them my own. I was so buy talking on Saturday night that I did not get many pictures taken of my friends and family. I don't think that I took one picture, actually my sister Emily was my dedicated photographer for the night and she took over 290 pictures of Emma Grace and Lucy for me! Thank you Emily for not making me take the pictures.

Emma Grace and Lucy's 2nd Birthday Party
This weekend we celebrated Emma Grace and Lucy's 2nd birthday. We had a lobster theamed "crawfish boil" party. The kids played in the water, rode in the boat, ate sweets, and enjoyed being together. We had such a wonderful time celebrating their birthday together. I love you little girls and I am so happy that you were able to spend your second birthday together.
Silly Girls
Emma Grace loved Lucy new kitchen that she got for her birthday. Thanks for sharing Lucy.

My little baby boy! I think all you ate all night is the bread that you are holding with lots of butter.
I love you my little girl!
Emma Grace, Lucy, and Max. These thress were all born within 3 weeks of each other. Max goes to the same play school as Emma Grace, and Max's mom Chandra and I were sorority sister!
Thank you for everyone who helped to make Emma Grace and Lucy's birthday party so very special. We love you all.

Old Fashion Sunday Afternoon
We had the best time on Sunday night at our church Pie Walk and dinner on the greens. We listened to Gospel Music and indulged in homemade pies. It is my opinion that every Sunday should be this way.
We also had the best Sermon on Sunday morning. It was about investing in the future with your faith and your church, and to quick spending on crap. But the preachers said all that in a lot nicer way. Did you know that there are over 30,000 storage unit facilities in the US? Did you know that people spend $1 Billion a month renting space in those units? This was brought up on Sunday as a thought provoking question, and we were ask why are we spending money on things that are not going to grow us and our children in the future. I think our church is about to get ready to start building a new wing on the building so they are pumping us up for donations! Nonetheless it was a really discussion. Are you ready to leave your past, and start preparing for your future with Christ?
